# How to download your DNA data from MyHeritage?

### Downloading your DNA data from MyHeritage.

\*note that files can only be downloaded to your computer, you cannot do this from your phone.

**Step 1** . Hover over the DNA tab and go to 'Manage DNA kits':

**Step 2**. On the right-hand side of the MyHeritage kit, click on the three dots and choose ‘Download Kit’:

**Step 3.** - A window will pop up with information on what you are about to download. Click ‘Continue’:

**Step 4.** - Accept the terms and conditions and click continue

**Step 5.** An email with instructions will be sent to your registered email address.

**Step 6.** Click on the download link in the email.\

\&#xNAN;**\*\*The link is only valid for 24 hours so be sure to download your data straight away\*\***

**Step 7.** Enter your MyHeritage password and click Download

**Step 8.** Wait for your download to start
