# How to set up my DNA Vault ?

You set up your DNA Vault following ordering a sample collection kit from our sequencing providers and going online to activate your kit.

1. Click Activate Kit in your account (or on the website and log in).
2. Enter your activation code. This is present on the side of your sample collection kit, as well as on the sample collection vials.
3. Download the Genomes.io mobile app.
4. Click New Authenticator on your mobile app and scan your unique QR code on the website in the activate kit flow.
5. Continue to follow further instructions to complete the process.
